📓 1.0.0.23 Installing Software on Your Machine
We hope you're as excited about the first day of class as we are! Here is an installation guide to help you get ready. Your instructor can provide setup assistance if you run into any problems.
Operating Systems and Support​
In general, Mac and PC users with a recent OS should not have issues installing any of the software.
We don't have the staffing to offer setup support for Linux distributions at this time. However, many students have completed the Epicodus program successfully using Linux, just be aware that your instructors won't be able to assist with environment issues that may arise.
Regardless of whether you have Windows, Mac, or another OS — or whether your machine is newer or older, it's important to have your machine's environment set up ahead of time.
